Ingredients
- 250 g wholemeal spelled flour
- 250 g wheat flour (type 550)
- 50 g sesame seeds, unpeeled
- 1 sachet dry yeast
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tablespoon sugar beet syrup
- 3 tablespoon oil (sesame oil)
- 2 teaspoons salt

- Mix the spelled and wheat flour with the yeast and sesame seeds directly in the bread pan. Mix yogurt, sesame oil, salt and sugar beet syrup in a beaker and fill up to approx. 300 ml with lukewarm water.
- Start the bread machine (setting white bread dark) and slowly pour in the liquid until a slightly sticky lump has formed. The baking machine does the rest in about 3.5 hours.
- You can also use sunflower or pumpkin seeds instead of the sesame seeds. And if you want to experiment, you can use whole wheat flour instead of wholemeal spelled flour.
