  • 400 g beans, reen (fresh or frozen)
  • 400 g potato (s)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 75 g bacon, mixed, diced
  • 1 liter vegetable stock
  • Savory, dried or thyme
  • oil
  • Herbs at will
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Clean, wash and cut the beans, not required with frozen beans. Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes of the same size. Peel the onion, also cut into cubes.
  2. Fry the onion together with the diced bacon in 1 tablespoon of hot oil. Add the potato cubes and roast briefly, deglaze with 1 liter of vegetable stock and simmer covered for about 15 minutes. Add beans and 1-2 teaspoons of savory or thyme to the broth and simmer for another 10-15 minutes.
  3. Finally, season the stew with herbs, salt and pepper.
