Ingredients

  • 500 g roast pork, sliced
  • 1 onion (s), red
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • 3 leeks
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 1 packet processed cheese, with herbs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon ham, diced
  • 1 teaspoon capers
  • 2 pinches chili powder
  • salt and pepper
  • Caraway seed
  • Clarified butter
  • water, or broth

Instructions

  1. Heat clarified butter or oil and fry the sliced meat in it, chop onion and garlic and fry, salt and pepper. Add the ham cubes.
  2. Wash the leek sticks, cut in half lengthways and cut into small pieces. When the meat begins to brown, add the sliced mushrooms.
  3. Mix in the dried chilli and caraway seeds.
  4. Reduce the heat and cook covered for 10-15 minutes, add some liquid (water, stock) if necessary, stir occasionally.
  5. Add a few capers or a little lemon juice or vinegar for the acidity.
  6. When the leek is done, add the sour cream and cheese and stir carefully over a low heat.
  7. Ribbon noodles or rice are ideal as a side dish.
