  • 6 tablespoon flour
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 1 teaspoon oil, neutral (e.g. sunflower oil)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 1 pinch (s) sugar

Instructions

  1. Whisk all the ingredients together to make a smooth part. The consistency of the dough should be such that it only sticks slightly (slightly stickier than a yeast bread dough).
  2. Form small dumplings with 2 teaspoons that have been moistened beforehand and add to the prepared soup or broth. Let it steep for about 10 minutes at the lowest temperature.
  3. I like to put these dumplings in a clear beef or chicken soup. But you can also prepare them separately in a little vegetable stock and serve with the soup.
  4. My children prefer to eat soups with these dumplings.
