  • 50 g powdered suar
  • 25 g cornstarch
  • 160 g butter, soft
  • 20 g vanilla suar
  • Icing sugar for dusting
  • 80 g walnuts

Instructions

  1. Put the flour, powdered sugar and cornstarch in a bowl and sift well. Then finely chop the walnuts with a sharp knife. Then put all ingredients, except for the walnuts, in a bowl and knead into a crumbly dough. Finally knead in the walnuts briefly.
  2. Remove some of the dough for the biscuits, press them together with your hands and shape them into small dough balls. Then place the balls a little apart on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 160 ° C top / bottom heat for about 20 minutes.
  4. Finally, dust the hot snowball cookies with powdered sugar. So it can stick.
  5. The snowball is a delicate shortcrust pastry cookie for the Christmas season. The light walnut taste makes them a nice change from the classic Christmas recipes. The icing sugar top gives them the snowball look.
