Solyanka in Haste

Many people know this traditional dish of Russian cuisine. Some hodgepodge is cooked on smoked ribs, others – on meat broth. We suggest evaluating the recipe for a quick hodgepodge on smoked sausage.

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 500 grams
  • Smoked sausage – 200 grams
  • Large carrots – 1 pc.
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Pickled or pickled cucumbers – 4-5 pcs.
  • Bay leaf
  • Vegetable seasoning
  • Paprika
  • Tomato paste
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt

Directions

  1. We put a pot of water to boil, throw in two bay leaves.
    Peel and dice the potatoes. As the water boils – add the potatoes.
  2. Chop the onion.
    Cut the carrots into small cubes.
  3. We cut the sausage.
  4. We cut the cucumbers.
  5. Simmer the onion in a little oil. Add carrots first, then sausage and cucumbers.
    Fill with tomato paste, add seasoning, and paprika. Simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes.
  6. Pour the mass into a saucepan. Cook for about 10 more minutes.
