Soup with Minced Meat and Cheese Sauce

Soup with ground beef, potatoes, and cheese sauce turns out to be very tasty, thick, and satisfying. The soup requires the most affordable ingredients and only one hour of your time.

Ingredients

  • Minced beef – 350 g
  • Potatoes – 3 pcs.
  • Carrots – 1 pc.
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Leeks – 1 stalk
  • Processed cheese – 100 g
  • Milk – 150 ml
  • Flour – 1 tbsp
  • Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp
  • Butter – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Hot water (or broth) – 1.5 l

Directions

  1. Cut the carrots and onions into cubes. Leeks – in rings.
  2. Cut the potatoes into small cubes.
  3. In a small saucepan or saucepan, heat the oil and add the minced meat. Fry the minced meat for 5 minutes.
  4. Add chopped vegetables and sauté with minced meat for 5 minutes.
  5. Add potatoes to the saucepan.
  6. Stir the minced meat with vegetables and simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Then pour in hot water (or broth) and simmer the soup for another 10 minutes with a low boil.
  8. At the same time, melt the butter in a separate skillet.
  9. Pour the flour into the pan and sprinkle it immediately (with a silicone spatula) so that there are no lumps left.
  10. Fry the flour for 2-3 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.
  11. Pour the milk into the skillet in a thin stream and stir immediately with the flour to prevent lumps from forming.
  12. Grate the processed cheese on a coarse grater and add to the milk-flour mixture.
  13. Stir the mixture over low heat until the cheese is completely melted.
  14. Pour cheese sauce into soup, season with salt.
  15. Simmer the soup over low heat for another 5 minutes, then remove from heat. Let the soup sit for 10 minutes.
  16. Sprinkle the soup with black pepper and it’s time to taste. Delicious and hearty creamy soup will warm you well on cold winter days.
