Ingredients
For salsa:
Pomegranate seeds – 2 cups
Orange slices (peeled and finely chopped) – 1 glass
Green onions (chopped) – 1/3 cup
Fresh jalapeno pepper (seeded and finely chopped) – 2 tbsp
Fresh cilantro (chopped) – 2 tbsp
Salt – 1/4 teaspoon.
For shrimp:
Paprika – 1 tbsp
Ground cumin – 2 teaspoon
Garlic powder – 1 teaspoon
Dried oregano – 1 teaspoon
Dried thyme – 3/4 teaspoon
Ground red pepper – 3/4 teaspoon.
Salt – 1/2 teaspoon.
Ground allspice – 1/2 teaspoon
Large shrimps (peeled) – 36 pcs.
Olive oil – 5 teaspoon
Directions
Mix all the salsa ingredients.
In a large plastic bag, combine the paprika, cumin, garlic powder, oregano, thyme, red pepper, salt, and allspice. Put shrimps in this bag, close the bag, and mix well. Remove the shrimp from the bag.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat 2 1/2 teaspoons of oil. Place half of the shrimp in a preheated skillet and fry on both sides for about 4 minutes. Transfer the fried shrimp to a plate and fry the other half of the shrimp in the remaining oil.
