Ingredients

  • 1 packet spinach (creamed spinach), some fat
  • 0.5 kg ½ minced meat, mixed or beef, depending on your taste
  • 1 pack sheep`s cheese
  • 1 sachet mashed potato powder (if you want it to be quick) or
  • 400 g potato (s)
  • Paprika powder, curry, nutmeg depending on your taste
  • Cheese (Gouda), grated or in pieces
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 sachet parmesan
  • 2 medium egg (s)
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Thaw the creamed spinach in a saucepan with a little fat, when it is defrosted, add the chopped sheep`s cheese and let it simmer a little longer.
  2. Meanwhile, fry the minced meat and add the spices to taste and fry a little so that the liquid draws out of the meat, since the spinach also contains liquid.
  3. Then prepare the instant mashed potatoes, peel the potatoes for homemade mashed potatoes, put them in a saucepan with water, add salt and cook until soft.
  4. Then drain the potatoes and use a masher to mash them, add a little milk and a pinch of nutmeg to taste.
  5. Now place the mashed potatoes in a baking dish, top with the minced meat and finally the spinach. Spread the grated cheese on top.
  6. Mix the sour cream with the egg and parmesan and pour on the cheese, so the cheese does not become so firm and the casserole gets a wonderful golden yellow color (and the casserole does not get too dry)
  7. Now bake the whole thing at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes.
