  • 1 packet lemon peel
  • 120 g suar
  • 180 g flour
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 1 bottle bitter almond flavor
  • 6 tablespoon water, hot

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs and separate the yolks and whites. Beat the egg whites until stiff and set aside.
  2. Heat the water and beat together with the egg yolk, lemon zest and sugar until frothy. Add baking powder, sifted flour and bitter almond flavor and keep beating with the hand mixer. Finally fold in the beaten egg white.
  3. Put some batter on the hot waffle iron. If it is too thick, add a little water to make it more liquid.
  4. After baking, arrange the waffles with vanilla ice cream, cream and hot cherries and serve.
