Ingredients

  • 6 beef steak (s)
  • salt and pepper
  • 20 ml vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons mustard
  • 20 g butter
  • 200 g chestnut (s)
  • 40 g almond (s), peeled
  • 80 g fi (s), dried
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Instructions

  1. Salt and pepper the beef steaks and fry them on both sides in the hot fat. Let cool down and spread thinly with mustard.
  2. Lightly toast the almonds without fat until they start to brown and then finely chop. Finely dice the figs and cut the pre-cooked chestnuts into thin slices. Mix everything together and fry lightly in the pan with butter. Sprinkle with the sugar and let it caramelize. Apply the mixture to the steaks.
  3. In the hot oven, depending on the thickness of the steaks, let simmer for about 20 minutes at 160 ° C top / bottom heat.
