Of course, now there is no problem to buy stew in any store. But it’s still better to make it yourself from quality meat, such as it used to be. I share the recipe!
Prepare all the necessary ingredients for cooking stew in accordance with GOST.
Wash and dry the beef. Cut the beef into medium cubes.
Add salt to the beef and stir, leave for 10 minutes.
Cut the fat into small pieces.
Wash two 0.5 liter jars thoroughly and sterilize over steam for 5 minutes. Boil the iron lids for 3 minutes. Remove and place some of the fat on the bottom.
Cut the onion into rings and place one at a time on the jar.
Arrange the beef tightly in the jars up to the shoulder level.
Add the remaining fat to the jars and add the black pepper.
Break a bay leaf in half and place in jars.
Roll up the jars thoroughly with boiled lids.
Place a piece of cloth on the bottom of the cooker and place the jars. Pour in water up to the level of the jars’ shoulders. Close the lid and valve of the pressure cooker and set the time to 2 hours. Then, to relieve the pressure, leave it for 3 hours.
Then remove the jars, cool and put in a cold place.
