  • 320 g bread (s), stale
  • 100 g chocolate, dark
  • 100 g chocolate, liht
  • 700 ml milk
  • 60 g suar
  • 6 egg (s)
  • some butter

Instructions

  1. Cut or tear bread into cubes. Cut or chop the chocolate into small cubes.
  2. Whisk the eggs, mix well with the milk and sugar. Put everything on the bread cubes, knead and let stand for about 15 minutes.
  3. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 200 ° C and line a 20 x 30 cm baking pan with baking paper.
  4. Add the chocolate cubes to the bread mixture and mix well. Spread the mixture over the pan, sprinkle with flakes of butter and bake in the oven for approx. 30 - 40 minutes.
  5. Wait a few minutes before cutting.
  6. Tastes delicious warm as well as cold.
  7. Note: Adjust the amount of milk depending on how dry the bread is. It is better to take a little less milk beforehand if the bread is not very dry.
