- 500 g strawberries, fully ripe
- 50 g suar or honey
- 50 ml balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoon wild garlic, the fruit!
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 pinch (s) black pepper, freshly ground

- Wash the strawberries, clean them carefully and cut them into small pieces. Let it steep for 2 hours with the sugar or honey.
- Then cook the strawberries together with the vinegar for 5 minutes. Add the wild garlic fruits, pepper and lemon peel and cook the mixture for another 2 minutes.
- Pour the mixture hot into small, easily sealable jars and store the jars in a cool and dark place.
- The strawberries have a very long shelf life and give starters, salads and rolls a particularly smart note.
