Instructions

  1. First wash the quinoa in warm water, then cook according to the package`s recommendations. Meanwhile, dice the onions and fry them until translucent. Then add the minced meat to the onions and cook until cooked.
  2. Cut and clean the peppers. At the same time, peel the carrot and grate it finely.
  3. Now add the grated carrot to the minced meat and season with garam masala, thyme, etc. to taste. Then add the quinoa to the mince filling, mix and season to taste. Season if necessary.
  4. Since the quinoa and the peppers take on flavor, you can add a little more flavor. This spreads out during cooking and in the end it is no longer as intense as you might think.
  5. Now fill the peppers with the quinoa mince mixture. Put the vegetable stock in a pressure cooker, insert the filled peppers and close the pressure cooker. Cook as usual at high heat until the pressure cooker hisses. Then switch off the stove and let the pressure cooker stand for a maximum of 10 minutes.
  6. A small green salad as a side dish is great.
