Ingredients

  • 150 g pumpkin meat, cooked
  • 30 g walnut kernels
  • 30 g pumpkin seeds
  • 80 g apricot (s), dried
  • 350 g flour
  • 60 g suar
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 0.5 ½ pack dry yeast
  • 70 ml milk, warm
  • 40 g butter, very soft

Instructions

  1. First cook the pumpkin meat so that you can then puree it. It can be added warm to the other ingredients. Therefore, the kernels can be roughly chopped and the apricots finely diced during the cooking time.
  2. Flour, sugar, salt and yeast are mixed together. Then pumpkin, milk and butter can be added. Now knead the dough with your hands until it is smooth. Only then are the kernels and apricots kneaded in. Now the dough has to rise covered for about 2 hours.
  3. Shortly before the end of the walking time, preheat the oven to 210 ° C top / bottom heat.
  4. Finally, shape an oval loaf approx. 20 cm long and place it on the baking sheet lined with baking paper on the middle rail in the oven. The bread bakes at 210 ° C for 15 minutes, then reduce the heat to 160 ° C and bake for about 50 minutes. If the bread gets too dark, you can cover it with aluminum foil.
