Ingredients

  • 300 g cheese, Swiss (e.. Emmentaler, Gruyère or Appenzeller)
  • 100 g cheese, rated (e.. Sbrinz, alternatively Parmesan)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 egg (s), whisked
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 6 tablespoon herbs, mixed, chopped
  • 6 tablespoon white wine
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 12 slices bread (approx. 300 g)
  • 6 tablespoon white wine for the bread

Instructions

  1. Grate the cheese directly into a bowl on a grater and add the sbrinz. Add the garlic, egg, flour, herbs and wine, mix and season the cheese mixture.
  2. Place the bread slices on a baking tray lined with baking paper and drizzle 1/2 tablespoon of wine over each.
  3. Spread the cheese mixture on the bread slices and smooth out.
  4. Bake for around 15 minutes in the middle of the oven preheated to 200 degrees.
  5. Serve hot with lettuce.
  6. Tip:
  7. The bread slices can be cut into cubes of approx. 3 x 3 cm from the beginning and then coated with the cheese mixture and baked. This is how you get a delicious party snack. Alternatively, toast bread can also be quartered.
