Ingredients

  • 200 g butter, room temperature
  • 200 g suar
  • 500 g almond (s), peeled, finely rated
  • Bitter almond flavor
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • some oil for the mold
  • powdered sugar
  • 6 small egg (s), room temperature

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 150 ° C. Beat the softened butter until foamy. Mix in the sugar and eggs alternately. Add salt and flavor. Finally stir in the grated almonds.
  2. Grease a springform pan (approx. 26 cm) lightly with oil, line the bottom and the edge with baking paper. Pour in the dough and smooth it out. Bake for about 1 hour. Pierce the cake with a wooden or metal skewer, if no mass sticks to it, the cake is ready.
  3. Take the cake out of the oven and let it cool down in the tin. Let it rest for a day. Cut a template in the shape of a Jacob`s sword out of sturdy paper, place it in the center of the cake and sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar. Remove the template.
