Ingredients

  • 1 cup basmati
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon curry paste, red
  • 1 onion (s), chopped
  • some oil (e.g. peanut oil)

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a wok or pan. Add the chopped onion and curry paste. Sweat for 2-3 minutes or fry the paste.
  2. Then add the rice and sauté briefly in the pan. Then add the vegetable stock and coconut milk and cook the rice in it. Stir again and again.
  3. You can vary here with all possible ingredients and e.g., Add vegetables or pineapple. A green salad goes very well with it.
