Tomato Soup with Chicken and Green Beans

If you want to slightly change the everyday menu, we offer an easy-to-prepare, delicious, and warming tomato soup with chicken and green beans. The soup is prepared without potatoes, but it still turns out thick and rich, and canned tomatoes give the soup a bright and appetizing look.

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet – 400 g
  • Frozen green beans – 200 g
  • Canned tomatoes in their own juice – 800 g
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Basil (dry) – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Oregano (dry) – 0.5 teaspoon
  • Refined sunflower oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt (if necessary) – to taste
  • Water – 1 l

Directions

  1. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
  2. We wash the chicken fillet, dry it and cut it into small pieces.
  3. Rub the tomatoes together with the juice through a sieve.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan put the onion and fry until soft (about 5 minutes).
  5. Add garlic and fry for 1 minute.
  6. Put the chicken fillet in a pan with the onion and garlic. While stirring, fry until white chicken for 3-4 minutes.
  7. Pour 1 liter of water into a saucepan and bring to a boil. We put chicken meat with onions and garlic in boiling water.
  8. Add mashed tomatoes and herbs. We taste it. Salt to taste if necessary. Bring to a boil, cook over low heat for 30 minutes.
  9. Then add the beans and cook the soup for another 10 minutes.
