Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion (s), finely diced
- 1 clove garlic, finely diced
- 2 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 packet tomato puree
- some water
- 1 pinch (s) sugar
- salt and pepper
- Cayenne pepper
- Herbs, Italian to taste
- 4 turkey schnitzel
- 2 onion (s), cut into thin rings
- 100 g cheese
- Oil, for the baking dish

- Heat oil in a pot. Sauté the onion and garlic. Add tomato paste and sauté briefly. Deglaze with a little water and pour in the tomato puree. Season with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, herbs and salt and cover and simmer the sauce over a low heat for about 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees circulating air / 200 degrees top / bottom heat.
- Rub the baking dish with oil.
- Season the tomato sauce again and season again if necessary.
- Put the turkey escalope unseasoned in the baking dish, spread the onions over it and pour the sauce over it. Sprinkle with cheese and cook for about 30 minutes.
- Serve with pasta, rice or ciabatta bread and a large bowl of crispy salad.
- It goes quickly and tastes great even when it is reheated.
