  • 8 turkey schnitzel
  • 3 onion (s)
  • 200 g mushrooms
  • 250 g ham, cooked
  • 2 leeks
  • 1 packet cheese (slices)
  • 2 cups cream
  • 1 tablespoon curry
  • salt and pepper
  • Sauce powder, 2 - 3 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Cut the turkey schnitzel into 24 parts, season and place raw in a baking dish.
  2. Dice the onions and sauté with the mushrooms, deglaze with water and add 2-3 tablespoons of sauce powder and bring to the boil, then add the cream and curry and season to taste. (I usually add 1 tablespoon of mustard and 1 tablespoon of ketchup to each sauce)
  3. Dice the ham and cut the leek into rings. First put the ham and then the leek on the turkey schnitzel. Place the slices on top. Finally pour the Jäger curry sauce over it and put it in the oven.
  4. Bake in the oven at 175 ° C for approx. 45 - 60 minutes and cover the casserole a little after ½ hour so that the cheese does not burn.
  5. Originally the recipe was with 2 bags of hunter sauce, but you can do that yourself very well. Anything goes with the side dishes.
