Ingredients

  • 225 grams flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 4 egg (s)
  • 330 g suar
  • 100 g fat
  • 500 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 50 ml oil
  • 1 lemon (s), add the juice from it
  • 1 packet custard powder (vanilla)
  • 500 ml milk
  • 1 bottle butter-vanilla flavor
  • powdered sugar
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour and baking powder. Knead with 1 egg, 100 g sugar and fat to form a smooth dough. Wrap in foil and chill for about 30 minutes.
  2. Mix the quark, oil, 180 g sugar and lemon juice until smooth. Separate 2 eggs. Add pudding powder, milk, 1 whole egg, 2 egg yolks and flavoring and stir until smooth (dough looks very runny, but it should be like that).
  3. Grease the bottom of a springform pan (26 cm). Roll out 2/3 of the shortcrust pastry on top. Close the edge of the mold around it. Shape the rest of the dough into a roll and press approx. 3 cm high to the edge. Pour in the quark mixture and smooth it out. Bake in a hot oven (electric stove 175 ° C, fan 150 ° C, gas level 2) for approx. 85 minutes.
  4. Beat egg whites and 50 g sugar until very stiff. Spread the meringue mass in a wave-like manner on the cake. Bake for another 10 minutes at the same temperature. After cooling, dust with icing sugar.
