Ingredients

  • 250 g butter, room temperature
  • 100 g powdered suar
  • 3 packs vanilla sugar, or bourbon vanilla, or vanilla baking
  • 120 g flour
  • 250 g cornstarch
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Beat the butter until frothy, sift the powdered sugar and add the vanilla sugar or vanilla. Sift the flour and cornstarch, mix and add to the dough. Knead everything, wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  2. Shape the dough into cherry-sized balls. Place this on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Press the balls flat with a floured fork to create a groove pattern. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for 12-15 minutes. The floor must not get too dark, otherwise the cookies quickly taste a bit charred.
