Ingredients
For the dough:
- 150 grams flour
- 150 g oatmeal
- 100 g suar, brown
- 2 tablespoon beet syrup
- 150 ml vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoon water
For the filling:
- 4 apples
- 1 glass applesauce
- 2 tablespoon flour
- Sugar and
- Cinnamon, as needed

- Grease a 26 springform pan and chill.
- Mix flour, oat flakes, sugar and syrup, add oil and water and work everything into an even crumble dough. Press about 2/3 of it into the springform pan as a base, pulling up an edge of approx. 3 cm. Chill the springform pan and the rest of the crumble.
- Peel, quarter, core and dice the apples.
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C top / bottom heat
- Mix the apple sauce with the flour. Then stir in the apple pieces. If you like, you can also add sugar / cinnamon to the mixture to make it sweeter or more aromatic.
- Place the apple filling on the prepared dough base in the springform pan and distribute the remaining crumble on top as evenly as possible.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes.
- (Caution: The crumbles do not get as nice and brown as you know it from ordinary butter crumbles, this is due to the oil - so don`t rely on the tan!
