Vegan Gnocchi

How to cook the famous Italian dumplings without eggs? Here’s a great basic vegan gnocchi recipe. Various variations can be prepared on its basis.

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • Potatoes – 300 Grams
  • Flour – 100 grams (from durum wheat – semolina)
  • Salt – 1/2 Teaspoon

Directions

  1. Prepare all ingredients.
  2. Wash the potatoes, cut in half and steam until soft. Approximately 20-25 minutes.
  3. Peel potatoes, mash.
  4. Add flour and salt.
  5. Mix well. The dough should not be too steep, but not sticky to your hands.
  6. Divide the dough into 4 pieces. Roll each into a sausage, then cut into small pieces.
  7. Give the pieces an oval shape.
  8. Boil the gnocchi in boiling salted water for 1 to 2 minutes, until it floats.
  9. Vegan gnocchi ready,
