Knead the flour with the margarine, the sugar and the egg substitute by hand.
Pluck cherry-sized pieces from the dough, shape into balls and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Use your thumb (dusted with flour) to make small hollows in the balls. Fill the hollows with jam.
Bake the balls at 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes until they are golden brown.
