- 1 pack pumpernickel
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 1 shot rum
- 1 kg cream curd
- 3 packs vanilla custard powder for cooking
- 2 packs vanilla sugar
- 1 liter milk
- sugar
- 2 glasses sour cherries

- How to do it:
- Crumble the pumpernickel very finely (preferably with the moulinette). Grate the chocolate finely and mix with the pumpernickel. Mix in a GOOD shot of rum.
- Mix 1 packet of pudding powder with a little cherry juice, bring the cherries to the boil WITH the remaining juice and thicken with the mixed pudding powder.
- Mix the quark with a little vanilla sugar until smooth.
- Prepare the remaining 2 packs of vanilla pudding with milk and sugar according to the instructions on the packet and allow to cool.
- Layer all the prepared ingredients in a high bowl. A glass bowl would be best so that you can see the individual layers nicely.
- The 1st layer is quark, then follow: 2. Pumpernickel mixture, 3. Cherries 4. Vanilla pudding 5. Pumpernickel mixture, 6. Quark 7. Cherries 8. Vanilla pudding quark again as the last layer on top. Decorate it with a few cherries.
- In any case, let the quark sit in the fridge for one night!
