Instructions

  1. Mix the spelled and wheat flour with the yeast and sesame seeds directly in the bread pan. Mix yogurt, sesame oil, salt and sugar beet syrup in a beaker and fill up to approx. 300 ml with lukewarm water.
  2. Start the bread machine (setting white bread dark) and slowly pour in the liquid until a slightly sticky lump has formed. The baking machine does the rest in about 3.5 hours.
  3. You can also use sunflower or pumpkin seeds instead of the sesame seeds. And if you want to experiment, you can use whole wheat flour instead of wholemeal spelled flour.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
