- 3 glasses flour
- 1 glass buttermilk
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 liter fat, for deep-frying
- powdered sugar

- Mix all ingredients (eggs to baking powder) well (food processor) until a smooth, thick mixture is formed. Shape round dumplings with the help of 2 tablespoons and place in the hot fat and bake until golden brown (the quantities correspond to approx. 30 pieces).
- Drain on a paper towel and dust with powdered sugar if you like.
