Ingredients

  • 1 bunch carrot (s), organic with green
  • 2 tablespoon rapeseed oil
  • 1 packet ham, diced (cubos de jamón)
  • 1 onion (s), red
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 pinch (s) salt and pepper from the mill

Instructions

  1. Remove the green from the carrots, peel and cut the ends. Peel and chop the onion and garlic and set aside.
  2. Put the carrots over a gourmet slicer, this creates thin slices.
  3. Heat the pan to level 9, add the oil and turn the heat back to 4. Now add the carrot slices and fry for approx. 15 minutes, then fold in the onion and garlic pieces as well as the ham cubes and fry for approx. 5 minutes. To do this, turn the heat back up briefly and then turn it off. This will keep the carrots firm.
  4. Finally, season with sea salt and pepper from the mill.
  5. What you want to serve with it is up to the cook. We ate fried eggs and rye crackers with it.
