Ingredients
- 500 ml water
- 500 ml milk
- 2 ½ teaspoon tea (black tea)
- 2 whole cardamom
- 4 teaspoons sugar

- Put all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer gently for 10 minutes. The cardamoms can be slit and scraped out to better develop their flavor. The chai tastes good even without it, but then it`s not quite as African.
- Pour the chai through a sieve and serve in a teapot.
