Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 200 g suar
  • 200 g butter
  • 3 egg (s)
  • 100 g almond (s), sweet, round
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 sachet baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon lemon peel, untreated, grated
  • 0.25 ¼ cup milk

For the cast:

  • 100 g powdered suar
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s), add the juice

For decoration:

  • 1 pack marzipan decor

Instructions

  1. Beat the sugar, butter and eggs until frothy. Add the almonds and mix with the rest. Mix together the flour and baking powder and only then add. Add the lemon peel and milk and stir well.
  2. Now grease a loaf pan and pour in the batter. Then smooth the surface. Now set the oven to 200 ° C and bake the cake for 35-40 minutes.
  3. Prepare the frosting in the meantime. Simply stir the powdered sugar and lemon juice together vigorously. When the cake is ready, remove it from the tin.
  4. Spread the frosting generously on the cake. Before the frosting has dried, place the marzipan decoration on the cake. Now let the frosting dry and you`re done!
