Ingredients

  • 1 kg apples, (prepared and weighed)
  • 500 g preservin suar, 2: 1
  • water
  • 2 tablespoon mustard, e.g., Rotisseur mustard

Instructions

  1. Wash the screw cap jars with hot water and have them ready.
  2. Cut out the core of the apples, I leave the skin on, and cut into small pieces, weigh 1 kg. The apple pieces with a little water, the bottom of the pot should be covered, bring to the boil and simmer until soft. Remove from heat, add the preserving sugar and puree with the hand blender. Now process the apple puree as described on the preserving sugar package. Finally, stir in 2 slightly heaped tablespoons of mustard and pour the jam into the prepared screw-top jars. Rotisseur mustard is also very suitable in terms of taste.
