- 1 apple
- 120 ml grape juice, lighter
- 120 ml wine (Vin Santo, Italian dessert wine)
- 2 teaspoons mustard seeds, ground
- 2 pinches cinnamon

- Peel the pear and apple, remove the core and cut into cubes. Put the grape juice and 70 ml Vin Santo in a saucepan and bring to the boil while stirring. Let simmer for about 15 minutes, then puree.
- Mix the rest of the Vin Santo with the mustard powder and the fruit puree, season with the cinnamon.
- Tip: Pour boiling hot into clean twist-off glasses and keep as a reserve. The apple and pear mustard will keep for several weeks.
