Ingredients

  • 1 kg apricot (s)
  • 1 kg preserving sugar, (: )
  • 1 tablespoon lavender flowers, dried
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (n)

Instructions

  1. Wash, stone and quarter the apricots and place in a large saucepan. Puree the fruits with a hand blender, add the preserving sugar and stir. Now bring the mixture to the boil, stirring constantly, add the juice of half a squeezed lemon and let it boil for 3 minutes. Take the saucepan off the heat, add the lavender flowers and stir.
  2. Now pour the hot jam into jars and seal them airtight.
  3. Makes approx. 7 - 8 glasses of 230 ml each.
