Ingredients

  • 2 ½ kg apricot (s), very ripe
  • 2 lemon (s), add the juice
  • 2 liters water
  • 300 grams sugar, per liter juice
Apricot Syrup
Apricot Syrup

Instructions

  1. Put the washed, pitted apricots, lemon juice and water in a saucepan, cover and bring to the boil quickly and simmer over a mild heat for about 10 minutes.
  2. Put the mass in a cheesecloth scalded with hot water and let drain into a container with sugar until the mass dries.
  3. Mix the juice with sugar over and over again. Heat the syrup to boiling point, fill it into sterilized, still hot bottles and close tightly.
  4. Steam juicing is also ideal, as the apricots give more juice and a creamy syrup or ready-to-drink juice is created by adding 1: 1 preserving sugar. Depending on the amount of sugar, what is added.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
