  • 250 g flour type 405 or 550
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 150 ml water, lukewarm, approx.
  • 0.5 ½ pack dry yeast
  • 6 grams sugar
  • Flour for dusting

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour and salt in a bowl. Make a well in the flour and add the yeast, sugar and about 2/3 of the water. Knead with a mixer with the dough hook, if necessary add some of the remaining water until the mixture has become a smooth dough.
  2. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  3. Divide the dough into equal pieces, shape into small balls, place them on a baking sheet and dust with a little flour. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise for another 15 minutes.
  4. Roll out the balls into flat cakes, cover again with the damp cloth and let rise for another 15 minutes.
  5. During this time, preheat the oven to 240 ° C top / bottom heat.
  6. Bake the flatbreads for about 8 minutes, until they have risen a little and are starting to brown slightly. Then take it out of the oven and cover with a dry cloth for about 10 minutes, the steam will soften the cakes.
