Thaw, wash and dab the frozen shrimp in good time according to the instructions on the package. In a small pan, fry the finely chopped garlic in a little oil and add the prawns. Fry until the water that comes out of the shrimp has evaporated.
Wash the remaining vegetables and mushrooms, cut into small pieces and fry in a saucepan with a little vegetable oil. Add the prawns with the garlic, the spices and the washed basmati rice and continue to cook briefly. About 2 minutes, then add the hot water, stir briefly and taste the water to make sure there is enough salt in it. Close the lid and simmer on a low heat until the rice has absorbed all of the water.
Place a large plate inside out on the saucepan and turn it out.
