Wash and dry the figs and remove the stalks. Cut the figs crosswise so that they look like open flowers but are still connected at the bottom. Then place them vertically in a buttered casserole dish and sprinkle with 5 g of brown sugar each. Spread the walnut halves and the butter flakes in the pan. Cover the form with aluminum foil and bake the figs in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
