Large potato tubers are baked whole in the microwave, then cut open, opened, and loosened with butter. Served one tuber per serving with the meat filling of the popular American Sloppy Joe (or Sloppy Joe) sandwich. This is minced turkey stewed in tomato sauce with carrots, onions, celery, and spices. Simmer the filling while the potatoes are baking and it will take you less than half an hour to cook. Serve the baked tubers, sprinkle with grated cheddar while the filling is still hot to melt the cheese appetizingly.
