Ingredients

  • 3 trout (s) (rainbow trout)
  • 3 teaspoons olive oil
  • 3 teaspoon teriyaki sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 medium onion (s)
  • Pepper from the mill

Instructions

  1. Make a hot marinade from olive oil, teriyaki sauce, lemon juice and pepper. Peel and slice the onion.
  2. Now wash the fish off and pat dry. Brush the marinade inside and out and let it rest for about 15 minutes. While the fish is marinating, preheat the grill.
  3. Place the onion slices in the belly of the fish.
  4. Lay out baking paper on a baking sheet. Place the marinated fish with the onions on the tray and slide it on the top rail directly under the grillage for about 15 minutes. Turn once in between. Then switch off the grill, put the fish on the lowest rack and keep warm for another 10 minutes.
  5. Spinach and mashed potatoes go well with it.
