Ingredients

  • 800 g tortellini, fresh from the coolin shelf
  • 400 ml cream
  • 200 ml water or white wine
  • 5 clove (s) garlic, possibly 1 bulb
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 200 g cooked ham
  • 200 g cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • basil
  • chives
  • possibly Tabasco
  • some olive oil
  • possibly white wine

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the onion and garlic.
  2. Sweat the onion pieces in a little olive oil. Meanwhile, press the garlic lightly with a spoon, this intensifies the taste. Now add the garlic to the onions. Deglaze with the cream and water. If you like, you can also add a little white wine here. Season the sauce with salt and pepper, possibly also Tabasco. A little more salt can be used, as the pasta is not specially salted. Puree everything well. Finally add the chopped basil and chives and the sauce is ready.
  3. Put the tortellini in a baking dish. Cut the boiled ham into pieces approx. 2 x 2 cm and spread over the tortellini. If you like, you can now put a little grated cheese on the pasta, then it will be even creamier. Pour the cream sauce over it, sprinkle with cheese and bake for about 30 minutes at 170 ° C.
