Ingredients

For the yeast dough:

  • 500g flour
  • 1 point yeast (dry yeast)
  • 80 g butter, liquid
  • salt
  • sage
  • rosemary
  • 250 ml beer

For the filling:

  • 400 g minced meat
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 100 g onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano
  • 150 g cheese (butter cheese)
  • 1 can tomato (s), (425g)
  • 1 egg (s), including the yolk
  • 2 Table spoons milk

Instructions

  1. Knead the dough ingredients and let rise for 30 minutes. Knead and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  2. For the filling, fry the minced meat in hot oil. Fry the onion and garlic briefly, add the spices and the diced cheese. Chop up the drained tomatoes and add.
  3. Divide the dough into eight portions and flatten. Add the filling and then form eight dumplings. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake at 200 degrees for about 25 minutes.
  4. Whisk the egg yolk and milk together and brush the dumplings with it after 10 minutes.
  5. Tastes great with a green salad
