Ingredients

  • 550 g banana (s), crushed
  • 110 g suar, brown
  • 115 g butter
  • 100 g walnuts, chopped
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled baking powder
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • Fat, for the shape
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 160C °. Grease a box cake tin with butter and place in the refrigerator.
  2. Crush bananas and chop walnuts.
  3. Mix the flour, baking powder and salt in a large mixing bowl. In a second bowl, whisk the butter and sugar together. Add eggs and beat until creamy. Add the mashed bananas to the egg mixture and mix well. Add the banana mixture to the flour in the mixing bowl, just mix until the flour is moist. Don`t stir too much! Finally fold in walnuts.
  4. Then put the dough in the chilled form and bake at 160C ° for about an hour. Check the consistency of the dough towards the end with a toothpick. If no dough sticks to the toothpick, the cake is ready. Let cool in the tin for ten minutes, then turn out onto a cake plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Let cool before consumption, enjoy with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
