Banana Ice Cream with Cocoa

An unusual dessert that consists of only two ingredients – banana ice cream with cocoa. The ice cream is smooth and delicate, with a rich chocolate flavor – a good alternative to the usual breakfast smoothie!

Ingredients
- Bananas – 2 pcs. (total weight – about 350 g)
- Cocoa powder – 1 tbsp
Directions
- Peel the bananas and cut them into thin slices (thickness is not important, but the thinner the bananas are cut, the faster they freeze).
- Arrange the banana slices in a single layer on a freezer tray (any flat plate or board can act as a tray). The freezer tray can be pre-lined with parchment or foil, so the frozen bananas will be easier to separate from the surface. Send bananas to the freezer for 3-4 hours or overnight.
- Place the frozen bananas in the bowl of a food processor. Add cocoa.
- Turn on the food processor and chop the bananas until creamy. The mass will look like a crumb at first, so stop the combine from time to time and use a spatula to scrape the mass off the sides and bottom of the bowl.
- In just a couple of minutes, the crumb turns into smooth chocolate ice cream!
- The finished ice cream can be served immediately, or you can transfer it to a container with a tight lid and send it to the freezer for storage.
