Beef and Pineapple Kebabs

It is very popular to use pineapple when preparing meat dishes. Here is an example of beef kebabs with pineapple.

Serving: 4

Ingredients

  • Pineapple (canned in chunks) – 240 g
  • Soy sauce – 6 tablespoons l.
  • Brown sugar – 2 tbsp
  • Odourless vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  • Ground ginger – 2 teaspoon
  • Garlic (chopped) – 1 teaspoon
  • Ground black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon.
  • Beef tenderloin (cut into 2.5 cm pieces) – 450 g

Directions

  1. Drain the pineapple and put in the refrigerator, and reserve the juice (it will come in handy). In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, butter, ginger, garlic, pepper and reserved pineapple juice. Mix everything well, and then take 1/3 cup of the total mass, cover and refrigerate.
  2. Pour the rest of the beef kebab marinade into a large plastic bag with fasteners, put the pieces of meat in the same place, close the bag and shake well. Put the bag of meat in the refrigerator for 8 hours.
  3. Turn on the grill to preheat to medium heat. Remove the meat from the marinade and string on metal skewers, alternating with pineapple pieces. Place the pineapple skewers on the grill. Fry beef kebabs, without covering the grill with a lid, for about 5 minutes on each side, periodically greasing with the marinade remaining in the bag.
  4. Serve beef kebabs with reserved marinade from the refrigerator.
