Instructions

  1. Mix the flour with the eggs, mineral water and salt to form a thin dough. Dice the toast and fry lightly in butter with the onions. Pour under the dough and let it steep for at least 20 minutes, the longer the better. Then knead vigorously with your hands and add the freshly chopped parsley.
  2. Use teaspoons to put small cams in boiling salted water, if they float on top, let stand for a few more minutes, then skim off.
  3. Fry in butter to serve.
  4. The bread buttons taste wonderful with everything, which spaetzle and bread dumplings also taste good with. And - very few know them.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
