  • 1 jar beans, thick
  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 4 tablespoon olive oil
  • 200 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 teaspoon sesame paste (tahini)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel the onion and cut into fine cubes. Peel and press the garlic. Fry both in a little hot olive oil.
  2. Add the beans, sesame paste, olive oil and vegetable stock. Let everything simmer for a few minutes. Add salt, pepper and a pinch of cumin and use the hand blender to grind to a puree.
  3. Depending on your taste, the savory can either be cut into small pieces and mashed or added as a twig and removed before mashing. If the consistency is too firm, add the rest of the vegetable stock or more olive oil.
  4. Finally, season again with salt, pepper and cumin to taste.
  5. We prefer the mush with pasta. We then sprinkle the pasta with freshly grated Parmesan and basil leaves. But you can also use it as a filling for tacos or as a side dish.
