For the dough, sieve the flour into a bowl and mix with the yeast and sugar.
Add the remaining ingredients and knead everything with the dough hook to form a smooth dough that should no longer stick! Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
In the meantime, for the filling, bring the icing sugar with the butter to the boil, stirring occasionally, then deglaze with the milk. Crumble in the chocolate and let it melt while stirring constantly. Finally stir in 3-4 tablespoons of cocoa to taste.
Pour into a small bowl or cup and allow to cool.
If this process, which only creates a certain caramel taste, is too laborious for you, you can simply melt the chocolate and stir in the other ingredients, preferably starting with the butter and finishing with the milk.
Grease a 26 cm diameter springform pan.
Roll out the well-risen dough on a floured work surface 3-4 mm thick into a rectangle. Brush with the chocolate cream and sprinkle with half of the nuts.
Roll up the sheet of dough and cut it into slices.
Place the slices side by side in the prepared dish, flatten them a little so that they touch and sprinkle with the remaining nuts. Cover and let rise for another 20 minutes.
Meanwhile preheat the oven to 180 ° C top / bottom heat.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes.
If you like, you can also sprinkle the rolls with chocolate.
